Post Smolt Sweep Netting
The post smolt sites are chosen to include sites that are connected to the Area Management Agreements and also to incorporate controlled sites located around the island out with the AMA areas, or at the very least in non fish farm areas.

The overall objective of this initiative is to improve the health of wild and farmed fish stocks through the development of Area Management Agreements (AMAs) in coastal and inland waters. Burdens of sea lice greater than 30 are deemed fatal to smolts.
